Mr. Shaw began association with Space Planning for People, P.C. as a full-time summer employee while attending Montana State University-Bozeman (1993-1998). During this time he worked primarily in drafting and project conceptualization, being responsible for the creation of conceptual renderings for various projects. His duties also included work on Contract Documents, as well as limited preliminary design efforts.
Upon graduation in 1998, Mr. Shaw came to work with Mr. Sobek full time. He has taken on responsibility for project development including work on: preliminary design; master planning; site planning; final design; detailing; and production of Contract Documents for building construction. He also continues to produce conceptual rendering, walk-through animations, and building information modeling for various projects.
In 2009, Mr. Shaw became an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®). He provides beneficial leadership in green building strategies to guide your project through registration and certification by the United States Green Building Council.
